中国的传统诗词古训一直是我国文化的瑰宝。它们或寓意深厚、发人深省，亦或情深意切，感人至深。

诗词篇

1. 曾经沧海难为水，除却巫山不是云。《离思五首》唐 元稹

no water is wide enough when you have crossed the sea;no cloud is beautiful but that which crowns the peak.

2. 海内存知己，天涯若比邻。 《送杜少府之任蜀州》唐 王勃

if you’ve a friend afar who knows your heart, distance can’t keep you two apart.

3. 万般皆下品，唯有读书高。《神童诗》北宋 汪洙

nothing else is so worthy as the activity of learning.

4. 酒逢知己千杯少，话不投机半句多。《春日西湖寄谢法曹韵》 宋·欧阳修

for a congenial

friend a thousand toasts are too few;in a disagreeable conversation one word more is too many.

5. 欲穷千里目，更上一层楼。《登鹳雀楼》唐 王之焕

grander sight, climb to a greater height.

6. 不畏浮云遮望眼，只缘身在最高层。《登飞来峰》宋 王安石

古训篇

1. 得道者多助，失道者寡助。《孟子 公孙丑下》

one who has the moral force will have many to support him, and one who has not the moral force will have few to support him.

2. 己所不欲，勿施于人。《论语 颜渊》

never impose upon others what you dislike yourself./do not do to others what you would not want to have them do to you.

3. 欲速则不达。《论语 子路》

if you make haste, you cannot reach your goal./more haste, less speed.

4. 三人行，必有我师焉。择其善者而从之，其不善者而改之。《论语 述而》

when walking in the company of other men, there must be one i can learn something from.i shall pick out his merits to follow and his shortcomings for reference to overcome my own.

5. 敏而好学，不耻下问。《论语 公冶长》

intelligent and fond of

learning, he was not ashamed to ask and learn from his inferiors.

6. 富贵不能淫，贫贱不能移，威武不能屈，此之谓大丈夫。《孟子 滕文公下》

not to be corrupted by riches or honors; not to depart from principle despite poverty or humble origin; and not to submit to force or threat.
